Workshops
On 08 April 2024, FACE-IT and the collaborating project “Future Arctic Lives” invited for a workshop on Lakselv, Porsanger, Finmark. This workshop explored the lokal management options for the mitigation of climate and environmental changes. 15 actors from local to national management and decision makers, local fishers, interest organizations and other relevant stakeholders have been present.
On 09 April, a smaller, more targeted workshop was arranged to elaborate on relevant concepts and concerns of relevance in more depth. Especially topics regarding management, resource use and conservation have been discussed.
Our FACE-IT colleagues Camilla Risvoll, Solveig Øye Bjørdal, and Grete Hovelsrud from the Nordland Research Institute co-organized these workshops together with Camilla Brattland and her team of the project “Future Arctic Lives” from the University of Tromsø, Norway.
