FACE-IT at the 2024 European Polar Science Week

03 to 06 September 2024

FACE-IT was rerpresented at the 2024 European Polar Science Week with several sessions, talks and posters. The conference took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 03 to 06 September 2024. It was a joint venture between the European Commission and the European Space Agency ESA aiming to strengthen the cooperations in polar sciences. FACE-IT contributed or co-organized three sessions and many more colleagues were involved in other sessions. For the closing of the conference, FACE-IT project manager Simon Jungblut (University of Bremen) was asked to present the key messages, major advancements and draft recommendations of all session from the topic “Polar ecosystems, biodiversity and carbon cycles”.
