Our role in the project
The University Centre in Svalbard is at a central position to research in the Arctic, merging scientific expertise with respect to biodiversity and ecosystem functioning and its implications to the local economy, such as fisheries and tourism. Furthermore, as a university institution it is central to the dissemination of results to students and the local community.
